How we calculate charts and use AI
Learn about chart calculation, true solar time, and the limits of AI interpretation.
Chart calculation
We use the iztro chart engine to calculate the 12 palaces and star placements from birth date, birth hour, gender, and calendar settings. A language model does not invent the placements.
Time settings
The form uses a Gregorian birth date. For birth times around 23:00–01:00, you can choose the Zi-hour day boundary. True solar time adjusts clock time using birthplace, time zone, and date. Some schools use it; enabling it does not guarantee a more accurate interpretation.
What AI does
AI produces the free summary and full reading from chart information. It turns palace and star terminology into readable explanations. Those explanations can vary or be wrong, so check them against the calculated chart.
How to use the result
Zi Wei Dou Shu is a traditional cultural and divination system. There is no scientific evidence that it reliably predicts an individual future. Do not base medical, legal, or financial decisions on a single star or AI reading.
